The collages in the Strata series are inspired by a painting of the same name by my mentor Gian Berto Vanni.
The works draw on decontextualized images of sea, sky, and land from travel and fashion magazines in an attempt to explore the layers of imagery and memory that come together to form our understanding of landscape.
